Enhancements to Increase Efficiency (June 2022)

June is one of the busiest months in real estate. With that in mind, we opted to push some of our updates into July (this month).

The Documents screen (inside a file) and the master documents screen were updated across all of the LDD applications (RealtiWeb, RealtiBuilderSales and WillPowerWeb). As well as, the Barristers’ Search in RealtiWeb Nova Scotia. These changes improve workflow and prepare our applications for the future.

Connectivity to FCT

The integration with FCT was released in RealtiWeb for British Columbia and Saskatchewan. This marks having the ability to order and receive FCT policies through RealtiWeb in all provinces from BC to Ontario.

Further RealtiWeb Enhancements

British Columbia

In the Issues screen, a new Utilities - Meter Reading was added to provide an easier way to accommodate holdback related to utilities.

As a reminder, last month we changed how the Vendor Statement of Adjustments (VSOA) worked in British Columbia. For those acting for the vendor(s) enable it in your account using the new Firm Settings option. Meanwhile, those acting for both the vendor(s) and purchaser(s) can access it in the linked Purchase file.

Alberta

At the request of several clients, we added an alternate form of Transfer of Land into our standard documents. The following were added to the Registration Documents category:

  • Transfer of Land - Alternate

  • Transfer of Land - Refinance - Alternate

  • Transfer Back - Alternate

  • Transfer of Land (Transfer only) - First Page - Alternate

The following documents were added as sub documents:

  • [SubDoc:] Transfer Back - Alternate

  • [SubDoc:] Transfer Refinance - Alternate

RealtiBuilderSales Condo (Ontario)

A new “policy interest rate” as defined in O. Reg. 250/22 for the monies to be paid on applicable deposit monies became available in RealtiBuilderSales Condo for Ontario.

Scheduled for Release

As requested by clients, new standard documents for RealtiWeb BC will be released later this month. These new documents will be available for Purchase files and one specific for Sale files.

The Financial screens in RealtiBuilderSales (Condo and Subdivision for Ontario) will be renamed (for consistency and easier adoption of new staff) and the Interim Adj and Final Adj will be combined into one called Adjustments. Instead of flipping between the two, you’ll be able to see them side-by-side (or only the one that’s relevant).

After the update in RealtiBuilderSales, we’re planning an update to the Financial screens in RealtiWeb Ontario. Specifically, the LTT and LTT Refund screens will better reflect how electronic registration is handled (rather than the paper version). This update is expected in August (rather than this month).
